Luxurious Chests offer the biggest rewards from chests in Genshin Impact and finding them all is a challenge. There are a total of 17 Luxurious chests in Chenyu Vale, with some that can be obtained from solving simple puzzles and others being locked behind hours of quests.
It’s recommended to complete the world quest, “Chenyu’s Blessing of Sunken Jade“, before going on your adventure to find Luxurious chests as this world quest fully unlocks Chenyu Vale.
These Chests are simply sorted in the order of ease of obtaining them, with the first ones locked behind puzzles to the last ones locked behind quests.
Luxurious Chest Location One
This is the easiest Luxurious chest you can get in Chenyu Vale. Teleport to the Statue Of Seven in Chizhang Wall and make your way to the marked spot at the top of the mountain North East of the Statue and North of the Chizang Wall main structure.
Upon arriving at the top, you’ll see a small piece of wood called “Ancient Timber”, interact with it to obtain a luxurious chest.
Luxurious Chest Location Two
To obtain this chest, simply head to the marked spot just West of the main path to the Wangshan Hall Teleport point and complete the time trial challenge. The time trial challenge is a combat challenge.
It is recommended to bring a strong team for this challenge because this combat challenge is long and includes a lot of enemies.
Luxurious Chest Location Three
To grab this chest, you must have unlocked the Mount Laixin region in Chenyu Vale by progressing through the Chenyu’s Blessing of Sunken Jade quest line.
Start by teleporting to the waypoint in Chiwang Terrace, then turn around and head to the marked spot just to the North. Kill all the enemies in the monster camp and follow along the path in front you until you see the green Stone Simulacuras.
Stand in the center of these Stone Simulacuras and change the time to 14:00. After a few seconds, you will be rewarded with a Luxurious chest and a hidden achievement called “Secret Miracle”.
Luxurious Chest Location Four
Teleport back to Chiwang Terrace and this time, climb the small hill you see towards your left (North West), go up the hill, and you will notice a Jade incense Cauldron puzzle. Simply solve this puzzle to obtain the fourth Luxurious chest.
Luxurious Chest Location Five
This chest is located towards Northwest of Mount Lingmeng at the top of the hill, and can be obtained by solving a puzzle and completing a combat challenge.
To solve the puzzle at this location, use your Adeptal energy to place the Stone Simulacura at their correct places.
They are also broken building pieces which need to be placed in the correct spots.
After placing all of them correctly, a pack of enemies will spawn, which is easy for most players to defeat, and after defeating all of them, you will be rewarded with a Luxurious chest.
Luxurious Chest Location Six
Start by teleporting to the nearest waypoint to the marked spot, Just North East of Jademouth, then climb the cliff in front of you to the South.
There is an easier way to go up the cliff. That is, by going up the stairs in front of you until you see a Jade Incense relic, then interact with it to spawn a wind current. Use the wind current to go up and easily reach your destination.
Upon arriving at the spot, you must solve a Stone Simulacura puzzle to obtain the chest.
Follow the order and place the Stone Simulacuras in such a way that it is facing outward, and then the puzzle will be solved, and you will obtain the Luxurious Chest.
Luxurious Chest Location Seven
Head towards the marked spot just South of Yilong Wharf on the East coast, and you will notice a Stone Simulacura with incense sticks under it.
Interact it with by offering incense and this will start a time trial challenge, in which you must collect Geo particles.
This time trial challenge isn’t difficult, and you will obtain the Luxurious chest after completing it.
Luxurious Chest Location Eight
Teleport to Yilong Wharf and go North to the spot marked on the map between the coast and the small island.
After reaching the location, you will notice an Ancient stone tablet, interact with it, and you will be prompted to offer three meat pieces to it.
Follow along the instructions on the screen and a large stone tortoise will arrive near you.
Climb on top of it, go towards its head and tap on the “try to touch” prompt, now the large tortoise will take you to the location of the Luxurious chest.
Luxurious Chest Location Nine
To obtain this chest, head to Mt. Xuanlian and go to the marked spot to the South East of the Waypoint on the coast, to see a region where there is purple grass and a purple tree.
This is a Miasma in Chenyu Vale, and a Luxurious chest can be obtained by purifying the Miasma in this region.
To start purifying, attack the monster with a mark on his head, and kill all the enemies that spawn to complete the objective.
After you’ve purified the Miasma, you will be rewarded with a luxurious chest.
Luxurious Chest Location Ten
Teleport to the teleport waypoint in Mt. Lingmeng and glide from there to Jademouth. While gliding, make sure you are going towards the top “Eye” of the Jade Mouth and after reaching there, climb and interact with the glowing spot.
This interaction will start with a very easy time trial challenge which will guide you to a luxurious chest that was hidden and sealed in a cave.

Luxurious Chest Location 11
Start by going to the marked spot, in the middle of the Chizhang Wall and Mt. Xuanlian waypoints, in any way you prefer. On arriving at the location, you will notice monsters attacking a transport balloon.
Kill all the monsters and interact with the transport balloon to start a small challenge where you must escort it to safety.
After escorting the transaport balloon to safety, you will be rewarded with a luxurious chest and two common chests.
Luxurious Chest Location 12 and 13
To obtain the next two chests, you must solve the Chizhang wall puzzle in Chizang Wall. This puzzle is a long series, and can be started by interacting with a “Diffuser Inscription” in the centre of Chizhang Wall.
After solving the Chizhang Wall puzzle, you can offer two jade fragments to the Mysterious Jade in the treasure room to obtain another Luxurious Chest.
Luxurious Chest Location 14 and 15
These chests are rewards from the World Quest Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley. This quest can be started by heading to Yadoie Valley in Chenyu Vale and going deep into the cave to your left and interacting with a Stone Simulacura.
During the quest, you will receive multiple chests ranging from exquisite, precious and two luxurious chests towards the end.
Luxurious Chest Location 16
This Luxurious is a reward for completing the world quest, A Wangshan Walk To Remember, the quest can be started by going to the marked spot on Mount Lingmeng and interacting with a NPC nearby called Wen the Fourth.
This is a somewhat long quest line with multiple puzzles and combat challenges. This quest also has many other rewards, like precious chests, hidden achievements, and finally, a luxurious chest for fully completing it.
Luxurious Chest Location 17
The final luxurious chest is a reward for fully completing the Major World Quest, Chenyu’s Blessing of Sunken Jade. This quest will instantly start as you arrive in Chenyu Vale and, after completing it, the chest can be obtained from a mountain peak in Xuanlian.
