New Genshin Impact Character Heizou Official News and Leak

miHoYo official has just announced their newest addition to the game, Heizou, hot on the backs of popular characters that have yet to be released Yelan who has been delayed alongside Kuki Shinobu.

The newest character Heizou is a male character from Inazuma’s Tenryou commission. He is given the role of a detective implying that he works closely with the region’s police force as well as investigating and helping to capture criminals.

Heizou seems to be a sword user however a post from a credible twitter user, Lumie has mentioned that he is actually the first male catalyst! From the colour of his design as well as his vision it can be seen that he is an Anemo character. Anemo characters are well known versatile supports in Genshin Impact and he may prove to be quite a useful character alongside favourites like Venti, Kazuha and Sucrose. It is not yet known what rarity Heizou is however some rumours suggest he will be a 4 star character.

Heizou’s date of release is not yet known and it is not known if he will release alongside Yelan and Kuki Shinobu or be in the next banner after that. The delay is a first time for mihoyo and it will require some communication with players to make sure we know what characters are coming next to save up and make sure our primogems are being used wisely!
